A place for free play, learning, and creativity

The Nest is designed with kids in mind—a dedicated space where two Village Scouts will be on hand four times a day to kickstart activities, provide support, and simply hang out with the kids.

From our experience, children don’t need elaborate trips to be happy; they thrive when given the freedom to play and the space to reconnect with ongoing games and friendships. The Nest will provide this continuity—a place for kids to play together, explore their creativity, and pick up where they left off the day before.

In addition to play, The Nest will also be a hub for learning and creating. Village Scouts will initiate optional activities like crafts, workshops, exploration, projects, and local cultural immersion. These activities are entirely pressure-free and designed to be opt-in, ensuring every child has the freedom to choose what feels right for them. This approach encourages self-discovery, self-directed activities, and personal growth.

While some activities may cater to specific age groups or require greater commitment—like group projects—the primary aim of The Nest remains simple: to be a welcoming space for kids to play, learn, and bond freely.

By balancing structured facilitation with plenty of room for self-directed play and learning, we hope to:

• Empower kids to explore their interests at their own pace.

• Encourage a deeper connection with the local environment through discovery and immersion.

• Strengthen friendships and create shared experiences that bring everyone closer together.

We also welcome suggestions from the kids, especially older ones, for fun and creative activities. From our experience, when proactive minds collaborate, the possibilities are endless. Our vision for The Nest is to be a space where we can build, learn, and play—together.
