19 families traveling to Vietnam, Thailand and Japan in 2024
Co-created by families who had never met in real life before, the very first Traveling Village was something unique. An experiment, imperfect, hard, intense, and very magical. We started in September 2022 with a simple idea we put online and from there, a bunch of families from around the World came together to create something very special together.

Village 1 was created by 4 families (Denmark, India, USA), who met through mutual friends and on social media. They worked together for over a year to make it happen and we hadn’t all met in real life until we started TV.

In Vietnam we worked with a local artist who made a TV artwork. He was painting at our very first communal meal and welcome party and at our last communal meal in Vietnam he presented it. Every family got a copy of the painting, printed on traditional vietnamese paper.

Why are we creating Traveling Village and why should you join? We believe that both we and you need to be sure about “why”. Joining TV is a big commitment, it’s a rewarding experience but also intensive and not just easy. The overall idea with TV is to experiment with lifestyle and we hope everyone returns home knowing more about themselves and how they want to structure their life.
